Reasons you should become a member of our Union
#1 (Solidarity) People in a position of power sometimes forget that the actions they take can have an adverse effect on the lives of the people they manage. One voice means nothing to them while 1000 voices speaking as 1 grabs their ATTENTION! Speak with ONE solid voice, JOIN YOUR UNION!
#1 (Strength) Percentage of Workforce Unionized in 2005
Non-Unionized 89% Unionized 12% while the Non-Unionized workers are greater in number the Unionized workers enjoy a much greater standard of living (i.e. wages, vacation, sickleave). The average wage of a Non-Unionized worker being $8.50 per hr and the average wage of a Unionized worker being $19.74 per hr. Dosent that give you a substantive reason to JOIN YOUR UNION!!
